Budesonide is a new age corticosteroid. Budesonal® nasal spray is indicated for the treatment of the symptoms of chronic and seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and children (6 years and older) and for the treatment of chronic non allergic rhinitis and nasal obstruction associated with nasal polyps. Budesonal® does not contain the irritating agent of the nasal mucosa benzalkonium chloride.
